September almost at an end!

It is unbelievable how time is escaping me! Always so much going on, and if I have any down time to record things, well, I'm too exhausted to do it! :)

I've been on the bad luck train for a while now. One thing after another, bad thing, bad thing, bad thing. Every weekend it seems like a new drama, a new piece of bad news or terrible thing to cope with, the car accident was only in the middle... unfortunately. I'm at a point, where I'm ready to get off the train, and find the good luck train! :) I can't even go into all the bad luck things, as it will only become depressing right now, and right now, I actually am hoping to find some hope in planning a party of celebration! :)

We are now in Fall. It is pouring rain right now, and cooler. The only bad thing about that right now, is we now have the windows closed, so the mold smell is more obvious (yes, we discovered we have mold, in addition to the fleas in the new place, and gas leak, blah blah). It's difficult to determine how to address a smell when it's probably in the walls, and in the carpets. Carpets can be cleaned, but inside drywall? what can you do? Anyhoo, I digress...

Larry and I have a lot of things to celebrate right now. It was his birthday last week. It is mine next week. Our anniversary is also coming up. We are having a baby in December. We have moved (however successfully/unsuccessfully you want to define that). I have a car to drive again. Haley (my cousin's little baby) is healing from her heart surgery scare. We have less boxes in the house, though plenty of projects to keep us forever busy. Our lives have changed drastically in the last year, and we have not done any celebrating! So we're hoping to plan a party soon to celebrate (and take my mind off the bad luck train too!). I want to figure out all the reasons I have to celebrate. Such as Kaleb and I being alive after the car accident! That I have a great working environment with a super duper supervisor. That I have the opportunity to learn acceptance (for my growing and changing HUGE body...)

Anyway, tomorrow is Friday, which means another weekend of working hard on the house. Putting up shelves, paint prepping hopefully, organizing more things, and hopefully getting the dining room put together so the main floor will almost be presentable (excluding the nasty wallpaper/borders needing to be removed, and painting to be done). Fun fun fun (I'm ready to scream if I have to do any more chores, but here we go again!)...
